Matt started his showbiz career as a drummer in a band called Emerald Dogs who appeared in the TV show ‘William and Mary’ starring Martin Clunes. The band recorded an Elvis Cover and Matt was asked to sing lead. This inspired him to go solo with his singing.
He started as an Elvis Tribute but then he expanded his repertoire to include other songs he loved and grew up with such as country music, Johnny Cash, Don Williams, Rock n Roll, Cliff Richard, Reggae music, Bob Marley, John Holt, Ska, Madness, Bad Manners, The Crooners, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond etc
He is currently working on putting together a full SKA / Reggae Tribute Night.
