This must be chapter 36, but this time it’s the music venture that worked. I’m Mike Roberts, I write melodic indie music, with a characterful voice and riffy guitar lines. My first single ‘Car Crash’ came out on the 12th November. Followed by an EP, when the budget allows for it.
I’ve been a songwriter here in sunny Bolton since I was 13 years old. After lockdown I’ve committed myself to playing as much as my body will allow. Relying on my voice and guitar to carry me through sets in hectic pub and club environments. I don’t feel like a new artist, more so, one that has come out of the wood works. I’ve always been there, you just may have not seen me. I’ve played in bands up and down the country. Playing big venues or on the street. Name dropping seems unnecessary. This is my relaunch, in to my own name, which is a big step for me as an artist. Normally you would find BBC tag lines or some quirky quote from an established DJ. This is not that bio. I’m not there yet, but I will be.
